Viborg Sand & Gravel is one of the original innovators of and owners of one of the largest and "greenest" recycling operations in San Luis Obispo County. Our recycling operation crushes concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, brick walls and asphalt spoils, and turns it into a Cal-Trans Class II Road Base. There is no longer a need to fill up our landfills or to pollute our rivers with debris and spoils. Many times we recycle these materials and deliver it back as Road Base to the very same construction site it originated at. We are the pioneers in the North County, designing and building our own portable crushing and screening plants. This portability makes it possible to move the entire crushing operation to larger demolition sites.
